Black Friday Blues?

Feeling overwhelmed yet?  If the media has anything to do with it, I guess you’re either out cruising for sales or captivated by Internet sites.  After all, a good deal feels, well, good; and doesn’t the world demand we cram for Christmas about now?

So worry, anxiety and stress top the list, unfortunately.  But, doesn’t it all boil down to plain old fear?  Fear of the future, the unknown.  Fear in the present with family and finances and often we even stress over the past – the shoulda, coulda, woulda’s.

Consider what the Psalmist wrote.

“I sought The Lord and He answered me and delivered me from all my fear.” Psalm 34:4

Think about it.  A lot.
