Two Men and a Teenager

Does anyone else find it strange or sad that the lead news revolves around an actor on a TV sitcom?  Angus Jones is 19 and has acted on Two and a Half Men comedy show since he was 10.  The show relies heavily on sexual innuendos and situations for its laughs.

Jones recently found God and religion and earlier in the week denounced the show as “filth” and “very inappropriate” and urged people to stop watching.  However, this morning he apologized and stated he has the highest regard for all related to the program.  He even calls the opportunity to be on the show as “blessed.”

A few Bible verses come to mind.

“Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “ I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12

“Do not be  bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14

“Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them.” Ephesians 5:11

“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

God will guide and provide for Angus and all actors like him when they take a stand and hold to His truth.
