Bible Thought Blessings – Psalm 5:3

Psalm 5:3, “In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; in the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.”

The other morning I carefully hand washed several colorful neck scarves in the bathroom sink.  I changed the cold water each time to prevent any transfer of colors so my task took longer but was well worth it.  I gently hung each scarf over a separate towel or plastic hanger and smoothed them to avoid as many wrinkles as possible.  Although bunched around my neck throughout the day created its own wrinkling, at least they started out clean and fairly wrinkle-free.

We may wake up ‘wrinkled’ by worries, worn down by wants or wrung out by woes.  But when we begin our day with prayers of Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication/Requests to the Lord God Almighty we start each day clean and fresh.  Oh, we’ll most likely pick up ‘wrinkles’ along the way, but prayer brings us back to the Lord’s gentle hand and His pure cleansing waters.

Begin each day’s walk with prayer then wait and watch for the Lord’s wondrous works!
