Bible Blessings – The Strength – 2 Chronicles 20:6

Blessings of strong faith!  Prayer requests?

2 Chronicles 20:6, “and he said, “O Lord, the God of our fathers, are You not God in the heavens? And are You not ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand so that no one can stand against You.”

How did you celebrate the 4th of July?  If one takes cues from the media, you would have purchased a mattress or new car.  Not the way I want to celebrate the founding of our great nation.  Perhaps you entertained friends, grilled burgers, downed lemonade, splashed in a pool or attended a fireworks display complete with patriotic music. By the way, why are these now on the 3rd of July?  Did I miss the memo?

Did you pause to remember our Founding Fathers, most of whom were actually trained Christian theologians, despite what many would have you believe?  Did you reflect on the sacrifice of so many for your freedom and liberty?  If not, do so now.

From the founding of Jamestown, in what is now Virginia, to the current Halls of Washington, D.C., God maintains a remnant of Christians who fight for His Truth and Way.  Pray for those brave warriors as well as those across oceans and still in harm’s way.

How will you stand for God this week?  Let Freedom Ring!  Can I hear an Amen?
