Bible Blessings – The Forever Food – Matthew 5:6

Be blessed with Forever Food!  Prayer requests?

Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”

Pale yellowed grasses on hot wind-swept pastures, thin cattle anxiously dipping their heads in search of green morsels and low levels in the ponds all indicate the ranch needs several weeks of daily downpours. So when the cows spy a human they hone in like heat-seeking missiles expecting something to fill their bellies. Their massive heads bob up and down as young ones barely keep pace during the make-shift stampede.

How would life change if you approached God with the same intensity as those hungry cows? What would happen to the spread of Christianity if all Christians did likewise?

Unlike those cows where a human doesn’t necessarily mean food, when we fervently seek God and His righteousness we will be filled. Do you daily read God’s Word? Do you live by Its truths? Do you share His Word? Do you help others in His Name?

Leave behind spiritual drought and seek everlasting satisfaction through Jesus, the Son of God, who first uttered the words of the above verse. Live forever filled with the Food of our Righteous Father of All.
