“Holy Father God, I love and adore you. You are Alpha and Omega. You are Almighty and all-knowing. You are love, light, and life. And you are complete grace, mercy, and truth. You sent your Son, Jesus, to deliver your love, light my way, and reveal life, death, and eternity – all and only through you.
“God is love,” 1 John 4:8; “I (Jesus) am the light of the world . . .” John 8:12; “. . . I (Jesus) came that they may have life and have it abundantly,” John 10:10.
Holy Father God, I am a sinking sinner in need of mercy. I do what I don’t want to do and I fail to do what I want. I am a sorry and broken example. Please envelope me with your perfect and powerful forgiveness.
“In whom (Jesus) we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins,” Colossians 1:14.
Holy Father God, I thank you. I see evidence of your power everywhere. You paint the sunrises with heavenly pinks, luscious purples, and golden oranges. You dapple spring with warm greens, vibrant yellows, and pure whites. You provide a place to live, a car to drive, and work to attend. You place special people nearby who minister to me. And you heal. Help me always to give you gratitude.
“Proclaiming thanksgiving aloud, and telling all your wondrous deeds,” Psalm 26:7.
Holy Father God, let me know you clearer, grow in you stronger, and show you brighter than I did yesterday. Help me live YOU and love YOU this day.
Holy Father God, thank you for sending your Son, Jesus, who existed before the foundation of the world, who was sent as a baby, grew to be a man, died horrifically though willingly, but rose again and is seated eternally with you in heaven. Let me worship you with fullness of mind, body, and soul this Easter.
Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Amen.”
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26.
Do you believe this? Will you live this Easter promise today? What is your prayer?
