My Writing

My hope is the stories I write will encourage you to live the thrill one story at a time. Before becoming a fiction writer, I taught and wrote biblical curriculum and devotionals. Finding out about my father’s secret work on missiles during the 1960s Cold War shifted my writing to inspirational fiction.

What I found gave birth to crafting inspirational thrillers. After three novels and thirteen writing awards, my redlining, high school English teacher must be shaking her head in disbelief. A ranch in Texas serves as home base where I am currently working on a fourth suspense/thriller novel.

The shocking terms of her deceased mother’s Last Will and Testament rip everything precious and familiar from grieving daughter Adelita Montero, including her family’s three-hundred-year-old title to their ranch in west Texas. But when mineral deposits worth millions are discovered on the land, she is plunged into a life-and-death battle.

She fights to prove her mother’s death was cold-blooded murder and rushes to save the Montero land, the town of Cornudas, and her family before powerful forces destroy everything she holds dear.

Will she live long enough to uncover the truth and save what matters most?
